4 day stone age course 12th June 2026

19 June 2026

Just attended 4 day course, taught by Will & Josh at the camp. It was so fulfilling in every sense. We had a great tribe, a mix of guys & gals from across the uk. We all gelled, gaining trust & confidence in one another, enabling us to work as a team, supporting each other & seamlessly achieving all the day to day tasks, keeping fires going, providing team meals & keeping the camp.stocked. Will our great educator & leader, is a genuine caring man, who gives & gives & gives & gives from his experiences, from his knowledge & from deep within. His work is his complete passion, that drives him to ensure all who attend, gain the best experience for themselves. Tireless in his teaching & nurturing the full range of skills that I experienced, prepared to guide you late into the evening to ensure you understand the vast range of skills & techniques involved in stone age skills. Nothing was to much trouble for Lord Will in his enthusiasm & determination to pass on all his amazing skills. His supporting helper Josh, equally skilled & a kind man with amazing patience & encouragement to complete many new skills to me. Saying farewell was emotional & a challenge, which in itself suggests it was a time in which I received an understanding of the beauty of being with such caring people & escaping the world for a few days. Thank you Will and Josh, see you next year. I will bring some new guitar strings if you take some singing lessons WILL. May your work.continue to be blessed. Paul Sutton.

Foraging from the carcass course

18 June 2026

His legend went before him, and it was a true honour to meet the actual man. Will’s mission and passion is to share the beauty, surprising sophistication and sympathetic balance of the way all humans lived for more than 99 percent of their existence. To this end he continually seeks to explore and illuminated the full range of practical skills and technologies early humanity developed to thrive sympathetically with the world around them. He absolutely ‘walks the walk’ and lives the life, and all his skills are grounded in the solid first hand practical living experience that he immerses himself in everyday, at his amazing earth-lodge. The joy of this course is that Will instills this energising core passion in all his participants, and through this he imparts true deep learning. He patiently demonstrates the comprehensive range of skills and techniques and guides everyone through the reasons these methods were employed in specific ways. Not at all narrowly directive, Will then lets you loose to get ‘stuck in’, and explore for yourself, in a refreshingly down to earth and humble way, carefully guiding and teaching you through your own real hands-on experience, (and in the case of the deer, real elbow deep experience!) A phenomenal course and a wonderful adventure, with a great man and a great teacher. I can heartily recommend this mind and skill expanding experience to anyone who genuinely wants to get into the spirit, mindset and way of life of our prehistoric brethren. Thank you Will.

An Unforgettable Woodland Experience – Truly Something Special

16 April 2026

I attended the Enchanted Woodland Feast on the 11th of April, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.

From the moment I arrived at around half past two, I was given a warm and genuine welcome by Will Lord and his team, which immediately set the tone for the day. There’s a real sense of passion and authenticity about everything they do, and that comes through in every part of the experience.

The afternoon was packed with hands-on activities and fascinating insights. We had the chance to try flint knapping, take part in archery, explore the Earth Lodge, and enjoy a guided walk through the woodland. Throughout it all, Will’s enthusiasm and depth of knowledge really stood out. He has a brilliant way of bringing history and traditional skills to life in a way that feels engaging and accessible. It never felt like a lesson, just a genuinely enjoyable and immersive experience.

There was also a great group of people attending, which added to the atmosphere. It felt relaxed, friendly, and social, with plenty of opportunity to chat and share the experience with others.

After the walk, we returned to find the banquet laid out, and it genuinely took my breath away. The feast, prepared by Maud, looked incredible and tasted even better. The quality of the food was exceptional, with a real focus on fresh, beautifully prepared ingredients. It is the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after the day has ended. The presentation alone was stunning, perfectly in keeping with the woodland setting.

Overall, this was a truly memorable experience. It was an inspiring, hands-on day outdoors, filled with learning, great company, and outstanding food. I came away having learned a lot, met some fantastic people, and enjoyed every moment.

I would highly recommend the Enchanted Woodland Feast to anyone looking for something a bit different. It is an authentic, immersive experience that reconnects you with nature, history, and great food.
